LUKOSIL silicone varnishes are solutions of silicone resins in organic solvents which acquire, after application, enhanced thermal resistance, hydrophobic properties, separation properties of created films, as well as resistance against climatic conditions and UV rays.
Methyl-silicone varnish
LUKOSIL M 130 – is a solution of silicone resin in xylene which dries in the air without the application of a catalyst. It resists temperatures up to 230 °C. The broad range of its applications includes protection of construction works, protection in the coating-materials industry, and in the electrotechnical industry.
Methyl-phenyl-silicone varnishes
These varnishes acquire their higher thermal resistance due to the presence of phenyl groups. These varnishes are used in the electrotechnical industry, and as surface finishes in difficult working conditions. Their films must be hardened at a minimum temperature of 200 °C; meanwhile, a catalyst must be added in most cases.
LUKOSIL 150 X – is a solution in xylene, creates a hard, brittle film
LUKOSIL 200 – is a solution in toluene or xylene (X), its film, when hardened, is resilient, and partially elastic
LUKOSIL 4101 – is a solution in xylene, with a shortened hardening time period; it is resistant against temperatures up to 200 °C, and temporarily up to 500°C
LUKOSIL 4102 – must be hardened thermally, and can be used as a gluing agent
LUKOSIL 4107 – is used as an anti-adhesive, surface treatment agent in the food industry; it is resistant against temperatures up to 250°C, and temporarily up to 300 °C
LUKOSIL 901 - is a varnish with a greater content of solids
